Carrabelle`s in Dayton

The food is good. The service is good. The restaurant is clean. Probably one of the best places to eat around dayton.Also, i have a small child and the patio has been a blessing! There are screens where I can enclose us so we are not disturbing anyone and he’s able to walk around and play while I eat!

This is a great place. The food and service is above and beyond. That entire staff are on top of there game. Great place to just kick back as well. Either at the bar or on the patio with friends.

I didn't know salt was a food group until I ate here for my birthday. I love Creole food, so naturally I chose the Jambalaya. Pure salt! The assistant manager made it right and the replacement ribs were much better, still a little salty, but much better. I might eat here again, but it will be a while. I'm not saying don't eat here, but if you do you might want to make sure you all for light seasoning when ordering your meal.

They always do it up good! You want some good food Then carrabelles is calling your name! Dont miss out on some BOMB meals and good drinks! Plus live music!! On Thursday nights! Staff is always friendly and tend to your needs! Come on by and feel like family!

So we've been here 5 times, most of the time the service is good and the food is ok. This time service not so good and the food was good. It's really a hit or miss here. It's evident in the wait staff and the food, this is not a well oiled machine.

Very nice atmosphere. Our server was Gavin and he was so AWESOME! Very informative, sweet as can be, just a really cool guy. I was not satisfied with my meal. I ordered a philly cheese steak panini and it hardly had any meat at all. I mean I was totally shocked. I may have well just had a cheese panini. My son-in-law ordered the same thing and his was the same way. For the price it should have had way more meat. We were very disappointed. The waffle fries were GREAT! And the queso dip was really good. The portion size of the meals were exceptional. Actually the waffle fries were the best part of the meal. I don't believe any of us will visit there again.

Eh, it's okay. The steaks are not as good as the price on them. Very expensive for just an okay steak. Mine was not seasoned at all. The shrimp tacos are my favorite.

Typically a brief menu means quality entrees. Same holds true here in Dayton Tennessee. Their service and menu offerings are outstanding. Great craft beer selection with wine and other full bar selections to compliment your experience. A very welcoming and comfortable environment awaits, so yeah, see what Carrabelle's is about.

Great food, nice assortment of beer. Wait was a bit long and food was barely warm, which given the prices was unexpected. Overall great place.

Yeah this is the place to eat in Dayton! It’s great, try the shrimp appetizer.

so we usually stop in each year at this time, we order something to share for 2 plus an entree.So a side salad for 1 and i ordered the Classic wedge and flat bread pizza to share.side salad came with greens not lettuce,our server decided to serve my wedgesalad with the flat bread pizza, the salad sat for 10 minutes in a hot kitchen before i asked how long does it take to make the salad, iceberg lettuce should be served COLD.Now the flat bread pizza was big disappointment uncut it measured just 4”x6” and was cut in 8 pieces 1”x3” the bread was golden brown and crispy but the cheese was not even melted and was thinly pre shredded from a bag for this they charged $9.49.Lesson learned always ask questions we assumed side salad would be a lettuce, i assumed wedge salad would be served cold, and we assumed the flat bread pizza would be large enough to feed 2 people and be hand made.

Excellent food! Good prices and great service. We will go back! Their shrimp and fish tocas were great. Good sides too.

Lunch was delicious! Kelli gave us great service! Smaller lunch portions wouldn't be a bad idea though.

The host really ruined mine and my family’s experience and dinner with her rude attitude on saturday night. This is not the first time either.

truthfully i get the same food every time along with the same exact waitress, Amber, but never does it ever get old. Amber is one of the best waitresses there always keeping my drinks filled and making sure i’m good. oh yeah that steak is fire too.

I stopped in for lunch and was not disappointed. The menu was diverse, the servers were welcoming, and the restaurant was clean.

Wow, the ribs were fantastic, the sweet potato fries were to die for, the regular salad that came with the meal was beyond normal. It was a real salad, not like some, pale looking salad. It had all the right stuff and the homemade dressings were incredible

love their food but their phone NEVER works. When you call it goes straight to a "the Party you're trying to reach has not set up voice mail, goodbye." Makes it hard to place an order for pick up. Edited* finally got them on the phone after 10 calls they said they had an issue with their phone system it wasn't ringing on their end.

Food is good but my dad and I came here tonight and put in our time at 6:50 and didnt get seated until 7:32 and we would have waited longer had my dad not gotten so frustrated. I dont get it the manager said the kitchen was slammed but half the restaurant was empty. I will probably not come back here until they get better management!

Just happen to see the sign, stopped in for a bite, and had an amazing dinner. The salmon was cooked perfectly. The sauteed spinach amazing. The fried okra, the best I've had in a long time. The atmosphere was friendly and inviting. The spirit of Christmas is seen and felt throughout the restaurant. I don't know who did their holiday decorations but they have an eye for detail. In my opinion, there's only two reasons you go back to a restaurant. One the food is really good or two the service is good. But when you can find both at one location you instantly become a regular. I'm already planning my next visit.

We was in a group of 6. Our very time to be there. Everything was great! We loved the waiter,, he was excellent. The food was very good.The LIVE music really hit the spot.We drove over 50 miles to try this place out and was not disappointed.

This place is great! I got shrimp here with a softshell steak burrito. The meat is tender and their shrimp is especially juicy and delicious. However the one thing that doesn't get this place a five-star rating is the steep prices (over 10 dollars for a shrimp dish with 11 shrimp, and I'm sorry, but in my opinion, a single pink shrimp is not worth an entire dollar). If you have some money to waste and want some food, definitely come here!

Waiter charged me more than the listed price, the food was cold and definitely over priced. The service was small town tacky and poor. Drive a few miles and find somewhere worth eating at!!!!

Good service. The steaks had good flavor but were full of fat and grizzle . Not been pleased with the last few visits.

Wonderful, swift service. Server gave excellent rundown of fan favorites vs personal favorites and why. She was quick with beverage refills, and all other requests. Chicken alfredo was bland for my taste, though the portion was VERY fair...especially for the price. Buffalo cheese dip portion wasn't very deep for sharing, the grated cheese wasn't melted, it was fairly greasy throughout, and the chips were crazy salty while also stale (hence the 3-star review). Will go again, but will try alternate dishes.

Love it... Great craft beer, and you gotta try the dragon shrimp.

Slow service but staff were excellent!

From the moment we walked in, till the time we walked out, the service was absolutely fantastic. The sweet tea was delicious and fresh made. The food was piping hot and wonderful! I'd recommend to anyone going to Dayton to check this place out!

Food was very delicious. The waitress gave us best description of Mac & cheese so we had proper expectations and were not disappointed. I liked that pineapple and honeydew melon came with my sliders. Decor is awesome and matches menu and pricing. Cocktail list looked great, but we were in there for lunch. Only mark is that there was very little light in the men's bathroom that I had to use the handicap stall to be able to see.

Going to give it a 4 star for just always having a packed parking lot. I personally havent tried it yet but really excited to eat there. I am from South Carolina and just moved to the area and being a low country boy myself makes me want to try those SC favorite shrimp and grits. I will let you know if they get that fifth star later.

Not really a fan. Expensive prices. Ordered an "Above Average Daiquiri" strawberry flavored. And it wasn't above average. Had 2" of whipped cream on top to give it sweetness....but other than that, didn't have much flavor. Our server...omg. I can't even describe how she looked. Black pointed nails, and so much makeup that it walked in before her. Not a nightclub but I was thinking we'd have been better off. She was friendly for sure not critiquing that. She did her job well. I guess I just wanted to go out and eat, have a decent drink time take the edge off my week, and this place didn't meet my expectations. Food was average, not spectacular.

Meh... This place is alright. I got a buffalo chicken dip as an appetizer and it didn’t have much chicken in it - it mainly consisted of salt and buffalo sauce.The chicken tenders were really good - however I wanted them tossed in “Nashville hot sauce” and the tenders had a tiny drizzle on them. Not exactly tossed.The deal that sealed it and made it so I won’t ever return was the service. The place was dirty and I saw the staff just standing around talking.. Tables needed to be bussed, chairs pushed in and tables swept - usually a sign of poor training and poor leadership from the managers.My server Alysia was awful. She wasn’t friendly, did not greet me, and didn’t even say bye or comeback when I left. Seriously an awful server.. (she also made the house margarita and it was horrible - do not get drinks here if she can’t make a margarita).Will not return and would rather go elsewhere if I was in Dayton (like Screen Door Cafe YUM).

We have been here twice. The first time they were extremely busy so we understood waiting for our food. The second time they were not busy and we still waited for an hour for our food while people who came in after us got their food. The food is delicious!! We just wish the wait for food wasn't so long

Overall a positive experience. The food here really saved the day. We did wait 15 minutes to be seated at lunch time. This was due to no servers being around. The waffle fry nachos were great, the salads were pretty good. Everything was fresh. The chicken Alfredo could of used more sauce and a better portion of chicken but it was close to Olive garden taste. The pulled pork sliders and everything on them were pretty good. Only real complaint is wait time. Server was very slow to come to our table and the servers were absent from the floor for most of the hour we were here. We did get one refill during our visit but that's all. Food was good but there was a lot of waiting on staff. Most of our time was spent waiting on server. Would try this place again. Hope their steaks are as good as everything else was!
